Iron Mountain - Price gouging
Iron Mountain archive storage is the most irritating company I've ever dealt with. They charge to store boxes, charge to retrieve, charge to deliver, charge to replace, charge to "permanently withdraw" charge to destroy and then charge to stop charging.
They charged me for years for boxes they ultimately couldn't find and then wanted to charge me for deleting them from their records. After multiple phone calls, letters, emails over the course of a year they STILL couldn't get my account closed. Do yourself a favor and rent your own self-storage space instead of using this company.
THEY SUCK! RUN, DON"T WALK!

Might I suggest switching to Pioneer Records Management if your business resides in Houston, Texas.
I used to work at iron mountain, and to be fair, someone needs to physically scan that box and put it on the shelf (charge), physically pull that box from the shelf (charge), scan the box out and a courier needs to deliver the box (charge), use time and materials to replace a box (charge), enter boxes into the system to permanently withdraw the box, and if it is at iron mountain, physically pull the box, and deliver to you (charges), it's all work to do that stuff, how else would employees be paid? just sayin...
There is a difference is charging a legitimate fee to conduct business and be profitable, Iron Mountain gouges their clients and holds them hostage with fees to leave in the area of 30-40 months of storage revenues on the fees associated with account closures.
